The World Health Organization (WHO) and Switzerland have renewed their cooperation strategy for the period 2024-2028. The renewal was formalized on 4 March 2025 at the WHO Regional Office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Switzerland was the first high-income country in the WHO European Region to pilot a cooperation strategy with WHO in 2013. In 2022, both sides decided to update and renew the strategy.
The agreement was reached between Barbara Schedler, Ambassador for Global Health at the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health, and Dr Henri P. Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe. Further details are available on the WHO/Europe website.
