Karthik Nagarajan has announced that he is stepping down as Chief Executive Officer of WPP Production India after more than three and a half years in the role.
Sharing the update on LinkedIn, Nagarajan described the stint as one of the most transformational phases of his professional journey. He said he would be moving on to pursue new challenges and credited the WPP Production team for the company's growth and evolution.
"I am really proud of what we have built in these four years, both as a culture and as a business," Nagarajan wrote, while thanking WPP India Chairman CVL Srinivas and Tushar Vyas for encouraging him to take on the role.
Nagarajan took over as CEO of Hogarth India in January 2023, before the business was rebranded as WPP Production. According to his LinkedIn profile, he led the company's transformation with a stronger focus on AI while continuing to strengthen its content and production capabilities. During his tenure, the business grew threefold in three years.
Apart from his role at WPP Production, Nagarajan serves as an Industry Council Member at the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies and has been a Board Member at I-COM Global since 2015. WPP Production has not yet announced Nagarajan's successor.
