The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced it will host a virtual roundtable to discuss modernizing initial public offerings (IPOs) and expanding access to public markets.
The livestreamed discussion is scheduled for Monday, July 13, 2026, at 2 p.m. ET, and will be co-hosted by the SEC’s Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation and the Division of Corporation Finance.
The event aims to re-examine current IPO frameworks and explore ways to broaden opportunities for companies to access public capital markets.
