A spa in the Lake District has been named among the top 10 per cent of things to do worldwide - again. The Falls Spa at Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa in Borrowdale earned the recognition as part of Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travellers’ Choice Awards.
It is the second consecutive year that the Cumbrian spa has received the award. Tripadvisor hands out the awards based on reviews and ratings submitted by travellers over a 12-month period.
Cara O’Neil, spa manager at The Falls Spa, said: "Receiving the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award for a second consecutive year means a great deal to us because it is shaped by the experiences shared by our guests. To be named among Tripadvisor’s top 10 per cent of things to do worldwide is a wonderful achievement for the whole team."
The spa is set beside Derwentwater and surrounded by the Borrowdale fells. It offers indoor thermal facilities as well as an outdoor hydrotherapy pool which overlooks the lake and Catbells. Guest feedback about the spa mentions the peaceful atmosphere, outdoor pool, Lake District views, and the welcoming team.
