A Cefco convenience store in Kosse, Texas, sold the only Texas Two Step ticket matching all five numbers in Monday's drawing. The ticket is worth a little over $1.8 million before taxes. The jackpot resets to $200,000 for the next drawing on Thursday, August 6.
Kosse is a small town on Highway 7 between Centerville and Marlin, about a two-hour drive from Nacogdoches. Its population is 454. The town is known as the birthplace of Bob Wills, the King of Western Swing, born there in 1905. John Wesley Hardin, a legendary gunslinger, killed a man at a hotel in Kosse.
Another small Texas town also produced a big winner on Monday. A ticket purchased at a Stop & Go store in Buchanan Dam won $250,000 in the All or Nothing game. This was the game's first winner in over two months. To win the jackpot, players must match all 12 numbers drawn or match none; the winning ticket matched none.
