Ukraine's overnight drone attacks on Russia killed six people and injured nine, damaging warehouses near Moscow and St Petersburg, regional governors said on Tuesday.
Moscow region governor Andrei Vorobyov said on Telegram that five people were killed and six injured in the attack, and a warehouse caught fire but was later extinguished.
Near St Petersburg, a drone hit a warehouse facility, injuring one person, according to regional governor Alexander Drozdenko. Russia's top online retailer Wildberries said its warehouse near St Petersburg caught fire but reported no casualties.
In the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine, a woman was killed and two wounded after a drone hit a car, regional authorities said.
In Ukraine, two children and an elderly woman were killed in Russian guided bomb strikes on the northern city of Sumy, with four others seeking medical aid, governor Oleh Hryhorov said. Reuters could not independently verify the reports.
