The City of Fort Madison has announced that the intersection of 10th Street and Avenue E will close starting Tuesday, Aug. 4, as work on the 10th Street Sewer Separation Project continues northward.
Once the closure is in place, Avenue F is expected to reopen to traffic, according to a city update.
In a Facebook post on Friday, the city urged residents to 'continue to use caution when traveling through the construction area.'
